«Together we move forward» - At the Schlossmatt Center, around 300 employees from various fields work daily for the well-being of 186 residents. Our care center specializes in the complex care of people with multiple disabilities, dementia care, as well as rapid emergency admissions and short stays for transitional or rehabilitation care. In addition to our diverse therapy offerings, we also have a day center, a daycare, and a restaurant for intergenerational encounters.What does your day look like?
- You can expect a very varied training, no day is like the other!
- For the most part, you will perform basic care tasks (support with personal hygiene, serving meals, mobility) and assist the residents in their daily lives.
- Administrative tasks are just as much a part of it as household activities.
- Depending on your training level, you will perform medical technical actions such as injections, dressing changes, or blood draws.
What requirements do you bring?
- You enjoy working with people who have a disability.
- You are reliable, motivated, and a team player.
- You are physically and mentally resilient.
- You are a communicative, open, and cheerful person.
- You have good German language skills and understand Swiss German.
- You are aware that various services need to be provided (e.g., weekends or split shifts).
- The commute to the various educational partners (company in Burgdorf, vocational school in Langenthal, inter-company course in Köniz) is manageable for you.
