This is what you can expect
- Responsibility for the technical vision and further development of central applications such as ERP, logistics systems, pricing and product data platforms
- Leadership and development of several engineering teams across team leads
- Designing technical standards and ensuring a stable, high-performance, and secure system landscape
- Establishing efficient development processes (e.g. CI/CD, DevOps, incident management)
- Close collaboration with product management, UX, data, operations, and specialist departments
- Evaluation of new technologies and integration of relevant trends into the system architecture
- Management of make-or-buy decisions, budget, resources, and investments to achieve technical and operational goals
This is what you bring
- Several years of experience in software development (at least 10 years), including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role in an enterprise environment
- Proven successes in building and scaling engineering teams
- Deep insight into architectural models, modern development methods (Scrum/Kanban), and cloud technologies
- Very good understanding of internal business processes and their technical representation
- Strong leadership and communication skills as well as the ability to coach and further develop teams
- Experience in managing budget responsibilities and strategic technology deployment
- Completed studies in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification
