We are looking for a Data Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen our team in Reinach and help shape the reliable, future-proof provision and use of data at Endress+Hauser Flow. At our location, we develop and produce innovative flow measurement technology for demanding applications in the process industry.
What is the role about?
Are you passionate about modern data architectures? Would you like to make data from different sources reliably available and usable? Do you enjoy working with various departments and a global data community? In this role, you will actively shape our data landscape and create a reliable foundation for data-driven decisions within our organisation.
What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- plan, design, and implement the provision of data
- monitor, optimise, and reliably ensure the operation of our data warehouse
- integrate new data sources into the existing data landscape
- coordinate requirements with data owners and departments and develop sustainable data and integration solutions
- collaborate with the group-wide data community and promote exchange on standards and new solution approaches
What do we expect from you?
You:
- have a degree or further training in data engineering, data warehousing, or a comparable field
- bring in-depth experience in analysing and modelling complex data structures, especially with Data Vault, as well as with cloud data infrastructures
- have practical experience with several of the following technologies: Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Git, Apache Kafka, Azure DevOps, and Power BI
- communicate in German and English at least at B2 level, ideally at C1 level
- work independently and pragmatically and openly contribute your ideas in collaboration with different stakeholders
- are enthusiastic about data topics and want to actively help shape modern data solutions
