The Mätteli Special School Home: not peculiar, but special!
We are a special education institution for children and young people with cognitive and multiple impairments aged 4 to 20 years, who attend school and live with us. We stand for high service quality in a dynamic environment.
From 1 February 2027 we are looking for
An employee in the kitchen and office area
Employment level: 60 - 80%, Monday to Friday (07:30 to 14:00)
You will support the kitchen team from Monday to Friday in producing healthy meals for the children and staff. You are prepared to work flexibly during holiday absences. We can count on your support at internal events.
You will:
- manage the picking of fresh and stored products
- handle communication by email and telephone to internal stations in spoken and written form
- perform preparation and cutting tasks (mise en place)
- take care of washing up with a professional dishwasher
- carry out general cleaning tasks
You bring with you:
- Good German skills in spoken and written form
- Experience in the kitchen and office area
- High standards of quality and hygiene
- Reliable, efficient and independent working style
- Team spirit, humour and resilience
