These are your tasks
- Make procurement volume (spend) transparent, analyse by product groups, suppliers and contracts, and prepare it in a way relevant for control
- Maintain, monitor contract and supplier data and actively manage deadlines, options and call-off volumes
- Build and provide key figures, dashboards and periodic reports for management and leadership
- Monitor compliance with public procurement law (IVöB), internal procurement guidelines and competence regulations – including early detection of procurements outside purchasing
- Monitor cost developments, amendments and budget deviations in procurement projects and highlight and escalate deviations early
- Act as an interface to financial controlling and validate and coordinate procurement figures from a purchasing perspective
- Continuously question procurement and control processes in the sense of a continuous improvement process (CIP) and digitalise and automate evaluations
What sets you apart
- Commercial basic training with further education in finance, supply chain or purchasing (HF/FH or equivalent)
- Several years of professional experience in procurement control, contract or supplier management or in an analytical purchasing or finance function
- Strong affinity for numbers and analytical thinking as well as confident handling of ERP and procurement systems (SAP S/4HANA, Ariba) and data evaluations (Excel, BI tools)
- Good knowledge of public procurement law (IVöB) as well as contract and compliance environment
- Structured, precise and independent working style with high reliability and quality awareness
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness in dealing with stakeholders and interfaces
