WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE

• Azure Architecture: You develop modern, secure and scalable Azure architectures and create the architectural planning for the solution to be implemented.
• Cloud Foundation & Landing Zones: You design Azure Landing Zones and shape the technical foundation for cloud transformations – including management groups, subscriptions, networking, identity, governance and security.
• Azure Migration & Modernisation: You support our customers in analysing, planning and implementing migrations to Azure and specifically develop existing IT landscapes further.
• Hybrid Cloud & Networking: You design hybrid architectures and securely connect existing on-premises environments with Azure – for example with Azure Virtual Network, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Private Endpoints and Azure DNS.
• Security & Identity: You integrate security from the outset into your architecture and work, among others, with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Automation & Infrastructure as Code: You automate the setup of cloud infrastructures with technologies such as Terraform or Bicep and integrate these into modern CI/CD processes with GitHub or Azure DevOps.
• Cloud-native Solutions: You also advise our customers on the use of modern Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Integration & APIs: You know the possibilities of Azure API Management, Service Bus and Event Grid and can sensibly integrate these into modern solution architectures.
• Operations & Resilience: You consider monitoring, availability, backup and disaster recovery already in the solution design and use, for example, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
• Governance & Costs: You support our customers in operating their Azure environment in a controllable and economical manner, taking into account governance and FinOps principles.
• Customer Consulting & Workshops: You discuss requirements on equal terms with IT managers and architects, moderate architecture and cloud workshops and translate requirements into concrete technical solutions.
• PreSales & Proposals: Together with our sales and Microsoft team, you develop solution approaches for new customer projects and support architecture concepts, effort estimates, proposals and presentations.
• Microsoft Ecosystem: You work closely with Microsoft and our internal specialists and actively bring new Azure technologies and best practices into our customer projects.
• Teamwork: You pass on your knowledge, support colleagues and develop our Microsoft Azure portfolio together with us.

HOW YOU SUCCEED

• Azure Experience: You bring several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure and the design and implementation of Azure-based customer solutions.
• Infrastructure Know-how: You understand classic and modern IT infrastructures and are particularly familiar with cloud networking, compute, storage, identity, security and hybrid architectures.
• Architectural Competence: You can analyse complex requirements, evaluate technical options and develop understandable, secure and scalable solution architectures from them.
• Azure Best Practices: Concepts such as Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Landing Zones and Azure Well-Architected Framework are familiar to you.
• Infrastructure as Code: You have practical experience with Terraform and/or Bicep as well as with automation and deployment processes.
• Security: Zero Trust, Identity & Access Management, Network Security, Governance and Cloud Security are integral parts of an architecture for you and not downstream topics.
• Modernisation: Ideally, you have already gained experience with Azure Migrate as well as with PaaS-, container- or Kubernetes-based architectures.
• DevOps: GitHub, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps as well as CI/CD concepts are familiar to you.
• Consulting Competence: You can explain complex technical matters clearly, appear confident to customers and develop solutions together with different stakeholders.
• Personal Responsibility: You like to take technical responsibility and want not only to design solutions but also actively accompany their implementation.
• Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) are a plus – or you are willing to obtain the corresponding certifications with us.
• AI Expertise: You have in-depth AI expertise, actively shape its responsible use within your area of responsibility and act as an enabler for customers as well as internally at adesso.
• Languages: You have very good German and good English skills.
• Willingness to Travel & Flexibility: You are willing to travel project-related and enjoy working in agile teams.
