Class and annual salary (including 13th month salary):
7 73,556.-- / 116,071.--
Tasks:
- manage services and procedures related to the Ex Libris Aleph library cataloguing application
- manage applications, services and web procedures in use at the Ticino Library System
- provide assistance to librarians and users
- maintain contacts with partners and suppliers (including data supplies for external services and migrations)
- update the documentation of the Ticino Library System
- prepare the printing operations of user cards for the Ticino Library System
- process statistics of the Ticino Library System
- develop verification and comparison tools for accounting and administrative aspects related to receipts and liquidity at the libraries of the Ticino Library System
Requirements:
- bachelor's degree in computer science
- knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- programming skills in Linux environment (ksh, csh, peri, python, expect)
- web programming skills (html, java, php, javascript, css, sqlplus, xml, servlet)
- skills in managing Apache, Tomcat, Oracle systems
- experience in participating in projects in the specific field is a preferred qualification
- basic knowledge of official languages and English
- initiative and teamwork spirit
- independence, sense of responsibility, reliability and precision
- willingness to change and flexibility
- willingness to attend internal or external courses or seminars aimed at acquiring greater skills in the professional sector

Employment conditions:

- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
