What you can look forward to:

We are a training centre for geriatrics (Category B) or there is the possibility to credit 1 year of geriatrics towards the specialist in General Internal Medicine (advanced training).

• Compliance with VSAO regulations for 42/4 hours and relief from unnecessary administrative tasks
• Supervised care of a geriatric rehabilitation ward under specialist supervision
• Ensuring high-quality and safe patient care in the inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Early detection of critical situations and initiation of appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic measures
• Active participation in optimising rehabilitation success as well as the treatment of geriatric comorbidities and complications
• Interprofessional collaboration with nursing, therapies, and medical management in a committed and collegial team
• Participation in ward rounds, rehab team meetings, and other patient-related exchanges

We look forward to:

• Successfully completed medical studies (Swiss medical diploma or a medical diploma recognised in Switzerland)
• Enjoyment in caring for geriatric patients and interest in General Internal Medicine and rehabilitation
• Structured, responsible, and patient-oriented working style
• Good organisational skills and communication strength
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1)
