What awaits you.

The train maintenance department is responsible for the light maintenance of railway vehicles for passenger traffic. Put your leadership talent to good use by being part of a motivated, ambitious team and contribute directly to keeping Switzerland and Europe moving with us! In this exciting role, you will lead a team of 10 to 20 employees and help them develop within our structure. In collaboration with production engineering, you ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance are carried out according to quality and performance standards.

• As a Team Leader, you are responsible for the efficient and technically appropriate execution of maintenance (with an emphasis on prevention) within your team.
• You ensure the hierarchical management and leadership of a maintenance team.
• You guarantee the timely qualification and certification of employees and ensure their maintenance.
• You share responsibility for cost compliance (cost centre budget, maintenance expenses, productivity).
• You promote a positive working atmosphere by encouraging continuous improvement, managing conflicts, and supporting the professional development of your team members.

What you bring.

• Solution-oriented, you are able to act and think considering all impacts for the unit.
• Thanks to your excellent leadership skills, you can motivate and lead a team; furthermore, you manage conflicts and make decisions quickly.
• You have knowledge of railway technology as well as at least 3 years of experience in rail vehicle maintenance. You identify with a type of train and ensure your team also identifies with this fleet.
• You have a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in a technical field (automation technician, mechatronics technician or automotive electrician) or a higher technical education.
• You have undertaken or are willing to undertake training or further education in team management.
• You are proficient in French (minimum level C1); knowledge of German or willingness to learn German would be an asset.
