Hirslanden Bern AG includes the Beau-Site Clinic, Salem Hospital and Permanence Clinic with a total of around 350 beds. At the Salem Hospital site, we offer a vacant apprenticeship as an Apprentice Medical Device Technologist EFZ starting on 1 August 2027.
The Hirslanden Group offers you a varied and attractive training. You will work in an experienced team and complete various internships that give you an in-depth insight into different areas. You will be accompanied throughout the entire learning process by a vocational trainer.

YOUR TASKS
During your training, you will be jointly responsible for the correct preparation of various instruments and devices used, among other things, in examinations and operations.
- You manage the medical devices
- You organise the reprocessing of the medical devices
- You clean and disinfect instruments
- You sterilise instruments
- You contribute to quality assurance
- You carry out administrative and logistical tasks
YOUR PROFILE
- You have completed compulsory schooling (secondary school or good general certificate)
- You are interested in healthcare
- You work reliably and have a strong sense of responsibility
- You like to work precisely and have manual dexterity
- You enjoy working in a team and are dependable
- You are physically resilient
- You have a good awareness of hygiene
