Senior Designer Toolmaking / Forming Technology
Your Opportunities and Challenges
- Designing new formed parts according to customer requirements in collaboration with various internal departments
- Developing concepts and feasibility assessments, as well as accompanying trials and prototype construction
- Evaluating, developing, and designing high-quality and complex stamping-forming tools (for aluminium deep-drawn parts) and further developing existing tool concepts
- Analysing and optimising processes as well as actively participating in technical improvements (CIP)
- Creating and revising tool drawings (3D CAD/SolidWorks)
- Technical leadership of the design team
- Administration of the CAD system and data
Your Competence and Experience
- Technical basic training as well as ongoing or completed further education as a technician HF or mechanical engineer FH
- Experience in the design of moulding/stamping tools (preferably deep-drawing tools)
- Very good 3D CAD skills
- Independent, goal-oriented, analytical and careful working style
- Skilful use of MS Office
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills
