As Deputy Chief Physician / Deputy Chief Physician of Medicine and Emergency Medicine, you will take on a central role in the medical team and actively shape both the clinical daily routine and the further development of the department. Spital Dornach is located in close proximity to Basel and combines an attractive working environment with excellent accessibility.

Your responsibilities with us

• Professionally competent and quality-oriented care of patients in inpatient internal medicine, the medical emergency department, and the IMC
• Assuming responsibility in the clinical daily routine as well as supporting the medical, organisational, and personnel management of the department
• Leading and mentoring assistant and senior physicians and promoting their professional development
• Participation in the medical on-call service and ensuring reliable medical care together with the interprofessional team

Your profile

• Specialist title in General Internal Medicine; with foreign diploma, MEBEKO recognition
• Solid clinical experience in internal medicine, ideally complemented by experience in interdisciplinary emergency medicine
• Several years of experience at senior physician level or in a comparable function
• Enjoyment of leadership, training and further education, as well as interprofessional collaboration, combined with decisiveness and a sense of responsibility
• Open, binding and appreciative communication as well as a solution-oriented attitude and interest in the active further development of medical care
