As a Clerk: Billing & Controlling, you ensure that services are billed correctly, key figures are clearly prepared, and deviations are identified. You connect numbers with operational events, creating transparency on which decisions can be based.
About BLS Cargo
We cannot move mountains, of course. But that’s no problem. Because as experienced alpinists in rail freight transport, we see mountains as a challenge, not an obstacle. We transport tonnes of goods from the North Sea through the Alps to the Mediterranean, and that is a tricky task. We master it as a team with our around 450 employees in Switzerland, Belgium, Germany and Italy. Our customers are international, our roots local. As a Clerk: Billing & Controlling, you ensure that services are billed correctly, key figures are clearly prepared, and deviations are identified. You connect numbers with operational events, creating transparency on which decisions can be based.
Clerk: Billing & Controlling
What awaits you:
- Responsible for billing and operational controlling
- Developing production budget items and preparing the basis for preliminary and final costing
- Creating and analysing performance figures of the product result accounting
- Preparing analyses and evaluations
- Leading and independently advancing smaller projects
- Supporting the responsible energy manager in the billing of the Europe-wide energy consumption of our locomotives
What you bring with you:
- Commercial basic training, ideally with further education in accounting and controlling
- Enjoy thinking in contexts and recognising solutions in numbers
- Experience in leading small projects is a plus
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI and SAP-Fi/Co
- Strong in German – additional languages such as English or Italian are welcome
