Your Area of Responsibility
- Development of electrical engineering solutions for demanding machines and systems, from customer requirements through to concept and ready-to-implement solution
- Development of electrical and automation concepts as well as creation of corresponding schematic drafts as a basis for detailed design
- Technical responsibility for the electrical design of a machine or system in close cooperation with automation, mechanical design, project management, suppliers and other specialist departments
- Definition and coordination of engineering work packages, supervision of implementation by internal and external specialists, and ensuring technical quality through reviews
- Managing several projects simultaneously, taking into account technical requirements, deadlines, quality and costs within your own area of responsibility
- Contributing expertise in functional risk assessments and ensuring the compliant implementation of electrical engineering solutions
- Active development and sustainable optimisation of existing standards, technical solutions and engineering processes based on your own project experience
Your Profile
- Technical education (HF/FH/University) in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in electrical design and automation in machine or plant engineering
- Experience in technical responsibility for projects or larger work packages as well as coordination of subprojects, for example as a Senior Engineer
- Experience in collaboration with external partners including awarding, managing and controlling engineering services as well as the ability to handle several projects simultaneously in a structured manner
- Sound knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines, especially in the area of machine safety and functional safety
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility
- Good knowledge of EPLAN or comparable CAE systems
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills
