Workshop Manager: Switchgear Construction
For our workshop in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, we are looking for an experienced, strong leader who will professionally and organisationally manage the production of switchgear and further develop our team.
What you will do with us
- Professional and personnel management of a team of 6-10 employees as well as supervision of 1-2 apprentices
- Planning and coordination of production including schedule monitoring, material disposition and inventory control
- Ensuring proper production and inspection of switchgear based on diagrams and dispositions
- Responsibility for quality assurance as well as compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Optimisation of workflows and participation in the further development and digitalisation of the workshop
- Central contact person for project managers, customers, purchasing and suppliers on organisational and technical matters
What you bring
- Completed training as an electrician, automation technician or automation fitter
- At least five years of professional experience in switchgear construction as well as experience in leading a workshop team
- Further training as a project and workshop manager in switchgear construction (VSAS) or willingness to complete this
- Confident handling of circuit diagrams as well as good MS Office and ideally ERP knowledge
- Fluent German language skills
- Independent, careful and well-organised personality with leadership skills, entrepreneurial thinking and a friendly demeanour
