Choir Director

About the job

The Buttisholz church choir is looking for a choir director from mid-August (start of the 2026/27 school year) or by arrangement.

Our choir has 28 members. We maintain a broad repertoire from various eras. We participate in the church service on religious feast days and on certain Sundays (around 8 - 10 performances). Occasionally, we also provide musical accompaniment for farewell ceremonies (funerals). Our rehearsal day is Tuesday (except during school holidays). We are happy to be motivated by new ideas and look forward to an innovative and communicative personality.

Ideally, you have training in choir direction (e.g. church music C or comparable with a major in choir direction or organ). A person with other several years of experience or in training in the field of church music is also conceivable for us. If you are also willing to engage with the liturgy of the Catholic Church and work with the team of the pastoral area in Rottal, you are our candidate.

The employment is carried out by the Catholic parish of Buttisholz according to the guidelines of the Lucerne regional church.
