Maintenance Manager__
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you have the opportunity to support the maintenance team. You carry out daily tasks according to the agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. In addition, you contribute your expertise to increase the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line.
The working model for this position is: onsite.
This role contributes to the ABB PMA site in Uster.
Your main tasks are:
Planning and execution of cost-efficient, sustainable and proactive maintenance and repair work on electrical and mechanical systems, machines, tools and equipment
Contact person for technical enquiries (internal and external)
Analysis of electrical and mechanical problems in collaboration with the responsible departments as well as derivation and implementation of appropriate measures to solve problems
Coordination of repairs, new acquisitions and external services for equipment, machines and infrastructure including documentation
Regular inspection rounds and acceptance tests of third-party providers using appropriate checklists
Technical acceptance and commissioning of systems, including introduction and training of employees
Qualifications for the position
Completed basic training (EFZ) in electrical engineering and/or mechanics as well as several years of professional experience; further training in electrical engineering is an advantage, ideally in a production environment
Basic knowledge of relevant software (e.g. SAP)
Experience in proactive maintenance and implementation of continuous improvement processes
Communicative and helpful personality
Independent and responsible way of working
Flexible, team-oriented personality with a hands-on mentality
Basic knowledge of English
