Project Manager Execution / Site Management (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Execution / Site Manager for demanding conversion, modernisation and renovation projects. You will take operational responsibility from execution planning through tendering and awarding to construction acceptance and handover to the client. The focus is on local site management, coordination of contractors and specialist planners, as well as consistent control of costs, deadlines and quality. The position offers a varied project responsibility within an established environment in the Swiss construction industry.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and realisation of demanding conversion, renovation and modernisation projects
Responsibility for local site management as well as coordination of all contractors, specialist planners and other project participants
Control and monitoring of costs, deadlines and execution quality throughout the entire project duration
Preparation of tenders and offers as well as conducting tenders and offer comparisons
Conducting award negotiations and preparing and processing contracts based on Swiss contractual foundations
Organisation and leadership of construction meetings including minute-taking, action item management and deadline monitoring
Review of execution documents, contractor invoices, change orders and time and material work
Coordination of interfaces between architecture, building services, specialist planning and executing companies
Ensuring professional execution in compliance with relevant SIA standards and building regulations
Support for commissioning, acceptance and defect rectification as well as organisation of handover to the client
Responsibility for coordination and follow-up of guarantee work until complete project closure
Ongoing project and construction documentation as well as cost and deadline reporting
Qualifications:
Completed education in construction, for example Certified Site Manager HF, Technician HF Construction Planning, Architect FH or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in project management and/or site management in Swiss building construction
Solid knowledge in conversion, renovation and execution coordination
Practical knowledge in tendering, awarding, contracts, cost control and change order management
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction practice
Confident handling of Microsoft 365 / MS Office as well as common construction administration and project software
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
