Payroll Accountant and Deputy Head of HR Department

The Gesundheitsnetz Küsnacht AG (GNK) with the elderly and health centres Tägerhalde and Wangensbach, housing around 130 residents as well as a day care centre, Spitex, assisted living and advisory services with a total of around 250 employees, is a non-profit public limited company wholly owned by the municipality of Küsnacht.

We are looking for a humorous, cheerful and flexible payroll accountant to complement the HR team.

Your new tasks

• Responsibility for and execution of the monthly payroll runs (approx. 250 employees)
• Processing and posting of payroll runs including year-end closing and reconciliation of payroll accounting with financial accounting
• Advising employees on salary and insurance matters
• Controlling a sub-area of personnel deployment planning
• Calculation of family allowances and withholding tax and reconciliation of social insurances
• Supporting and driving digitalisation and co-developing and managing all payroll-relevant processes as well as participating in projects

What you bring with you

• Commercial basic training with specialised further training as a payroll specialist and preferably additional training as a social insurance specialist
• Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting including year-end tasks
• Very good MS Office skills
• Integrative personality, socially competent and a team player
• Quick comprehension and networked thinking
• Reliable and independent working style
• Interest in professional and personal development
