About the job
Bülach – a town with tradition since 1384. Today, it is the prosperous and growing centre of the Zurich lowlands with around 24,500 inhabitants. The Bülach School Psychological Service serves as a counselling and assessment centre for children, parents, teachers and school authorities in Bülach and the affiliated school communities. Currently, the number of pupils is around 5,200 children and young people (from kindergarten to the end of compulsory schooling). We are looking for a committed individual as a maternity cover from 1 January 2027, fixed-term until 31 December 2027 or by arrangement.
Your role with us
- school psychological assessments of children and young people
- advice to school management, teachers, parents and pupils as well as school authorities on school difficulties, behavioural and developmental problems
- ongoing support for pupils
- collaboration with specialist agencies and authorities as well as with external professionals
- supervision of assistant psychologists, if suitable
You…
- have a completed Master’s degree in Psychology specialising in child and adolescent psychology
- bring experience in school psychological practice and/or in the diagnosis and counselling of children and young people
- work in a structured manner and have good organisational skills (planning, documentation)
- are accustomed to systemic and solution-oriented work
- are a resilient, empathetic and communicative personality
