Research Associate in Mobility, Sustainability and Behaviour Change (80%)
University of Applied Psychology FHNW, Institute for Innovation, Transformation and Sustainability
Your tasks:
As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will implement applied research and development projects in the field of traffic and behavioural psychology as well as sustainability in collaboration with research and practice partners. You will work in a diverse and international environment. The position is limited. Funding models and thus opportunities for pursuing a doctoral project are available if interested.
Your tasks include:
- Independently handling projects and leading subprojects within the framework of application-oriented research & development
- Writing scientific publications in German and English
- Assisting in the delivery of German- and English-language courses in the Bachelor and Master of Science in Applied Psychology
- Active participation in team, institute and university development
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, ideally Social Psychology, Behavioural Psychology or Business Psychology
- Strong skills in qualitative research methods (e.g. design, conduct and analysis of interviews and focus groups)
- Strong skills in quantitative research methods (e.g. surveys and experiments)
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn R or other statistical software
- Several years of professional experience (after graduation or studies)
- Practical experience in project management
- Language skills (German: native or C2, English: C1, fluent in spoken and written)
