Junior Accountant - Temporary 80%

About the Position

As a Junior Accountant, you will be the central interface between external fund providers, the internal accounting team, and group reporting, taking on the following tasks:

Your Responsibilities

• Processing Trial Balances: You will take the raw trial balances from external fund providers and systematically transfer them into the group data model.
• Preparation of Reporting Packages: You will prepare the reporting data on time for the year-end closing using internal tools.
• Data Integration and System Validation: You will upload the data sets into the system and verify their accuracy in the group reporting tool.
• Error Analysis and Reconciliations: You will perform variance analyses, identify discrepancies, and independently correct deviations.
• Documentation of Best Practices: You will record insights after the closing cycle to optimise future period-end closings.

Requirements

• Education: Commercial apprenticeship (KV) with a finance focus or ongoing/completed studies (business administration, finance, accounting).
• Expertise: Initial experience with accounting processes or IFRS reporting is an advantage.
• Working Style: Strong affinity for numbers, analytical focus, and reliability under deadline pressure.
• Personality: Team-oriented, eager to learn, and open personality with a quick grasp.
• Languages: Fluent German in spoken and written form (C1 level).
• Residence: Permanent residence in Switzerland.
• Availability: Start immediately or 1 December 2026 for a fixed-term assignment of 8 to 15 weeks (80-100% workload).
