Specialist in Asset Management and Asset Analytics

Your area of responsibility

• You ensure a highly available, secure and economical network infrastructure for gas, heat and cooling - always taking into account market, environmental and regulatory aspects.
• You analyse asset, network and geodata (GIS, data analytics) and create well-founded decision bases for asset management, network development and asset strategy.
• You are responsible for operational and strategic asset management, network development and target network planning.
• You take on the design and optimisation of networks in the transformation process and ensure data deliveries in the context of the transformation together with municipalities and the city of Zurich.
• You conduct rolling network planning and develop models for the future development of the network infrastructure based on scenarios. From this, you derive appropriate action strategies.
• You create network calculations, conduct network topological analyses and model gas networks.
• You ensure risk management for networks and assets and prioritise construction and maintenance measures within the framework of long- and medium-term planning.
• You develop standards, norms and guidelines and coordinate these with internal specialist departments and external stakeholders.
• You are the contact person for internal and external partners regarding asset management, network development, network calculation and network planning.
• You ensure compliance with legal requirements in the area of plant, occupational and environmental protection.
• You actively contribute to the development and implementation of the network and corporate strategy.

Your profile

• You have a university or college degree (e.g. in Energy Science and Technology, Engineering, Data Science or a similar field).
• You bring experience in the energy industry, asset management or network planning.
• You think holistically and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration.
• You convince with very good analytical and conceptual skills and approach new tasks with initiative.
• You have strong communication skills, assertiveness and team spirit.
• You have good IT skills and enjoy working with modern tools and data.
