With state-of-the-art extrusion blow technology, a strong focus on quality, and over 100 years of experience within the Fischer Söhne Group, we are among the leading manufacturers of plastic packaging in Switzerland. 

To strengthen our dedicated production team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a reliable and motivated individual as Process Mechanic Extrusion Blowing – 100% (m/f/d). 

Your Tasks

• Ensuring smooth order processing
• Independent operation of machines, including monitoring the production process / adherence to target values
• Carrying out quality controls based on test instructions
• Ongoing documentation and completion of production orders.
• Troubleshooting extrusion blow machines
• Performing material changes & cleaning of peripheral equipment
• Coordination of the shift group (5 employees)
• Conducting shift handovers & participating in shop floor meetings
• Requesting consumables
• Relevant information sharing in case of malfunctions / deviations from the production plan etc. with the production manager
• Training / instructing shift personnel (e.g. in connection with complaints, process changes etc.)
• Supporting the production manager in daily business or in production-related projects
• Ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
• Supporting shift employees if needed
• Active participation in optimising equipment and processes and increasing efficiency

We Expect

• Training as a process mechanic in the plastics industry, ideally experience in extrusion blowing
• Good German skills (spoken and written)
• Willingness to work shifts and appropriate physical condition
• Enjoyment in interacting with people (initial leadership experience is a plus)
• High quality awareness and consciousness
• Independent and solution-oriented action
• Enjoyment of working in a dynamic and varied environment
