About the job
For our office in Zurich, we are looking for a System and Integration Architect: Data 80 – 100% to start immediately or by arrangement.
You will take architectural responsibility for integration and data flows, ensure operations, further develop and steer our data landscape towards the "Golden Record". At the same time, you will build the new event-based data backbone on Azure.
You will succeed a long-standing knowledge holder – with structured knowledge transfer in the first months.
Are you keen to take on a central role with significant impact? Then read on…
YOUR SPECIALISATIONS AS AN ICT PROJECT MANAGER
- You ensure the stable operation of our integration and orchestration solutions (e.g. Kestra, Celigo) and develop them purposefully – including marketplace and marketing flows. That suits you.
- You gradually take over the knowledge of the previous role holder and ensure it is documented in a structured way and anchored within the company. That goes without saying for you.
- You are responsible for the conceptual and strategic further development of our data and integration architecture – scalable, comprehensible and future-proof. Your standard.
- You build our event-based integration backbone on Azure (Event Hub, Azure Functions, SQL, Data Lake) and lead the implementation together with internal teams and external partners to success. You get stuck in.
- You further develop a company-wide data model – focusing on the "Golden Record" for customer data – and ensure a meaningful connection to marketing automation. Your passion.
- You design and structure versioned domain APIs (e.g. Customer, Product, Order, Stock) and ensure their sustainable use. Your thing.
- You plan the migration of existing integrations and shape the coexistence of old and new solutions – including the replacement of legacy middleware, EDI legacy burdens and grown integration paths. Your challenge.
- You translate business requirements into pragmatic data models and integration designs and bring them into implementation. You are used to that.
- You manage implementation partners professionally and ensure that integration solutions are implemented consistently and with high quality. Yes, of course.
- You establish clear standards for integrations: who builds what, how it is monitored, how we ensure stability. That is important to you.
- You are a sparring partner for circles, projects and our sister company on architectural issues. Your playground.
- You continuously improve data quality and availability – so that data-driven decisions work in everyday life. Your impact.
THIS IS YOU
- Several years of experience as an integration or solution architect in complex commerce/retail landscapes. It shows in your profile.
- You know APIs, event-driven architecture and data platforms in depth. Definitely.
- Experience with orchestration or iPaaS as well as productive interfaces. That is needed.
- Data modelling – ideally in cloud DWH – is part of your daily routine. Clearly.
- You take on professional leadership without classic hierarchy and drive decisions forward. That is you.
- You think in solutions, make decisions and implement them. Period.
- You translate between business, IT and partners. Understandable, clear, on equal footing.
- Security-by-design is a given for you. Always.
- ERP, PIM or commerce experience? A plus.
YOUR BENEFITS
- A shared spirit of outdoor enthusiasts that can move mountains
- Generous shopping discount and attractive benefits with partners
- Above-statutory and part-time friendly social benefits
- Possibility of home office
- Central workplace 7 minutes from Zurich main station
- Loyalty bonus (holiday or money) every 5 years
- Possibility of unpaid leave
- Employee events from outdoor cooking to bivouac tours
- And much more
