Pictet Wealth Management combines more than 200 years of Swiss banking heritage with global investment expertise. As a Direct Advisor, you will outline the view of the CIO Office and Bank’s house view to clients while providing trading support and pro-active advice. You will also answer to client queries and respond to requests for information, in compliance with the applicable procedures and internal/external rules.
Your role
• Providing private clients with close access to the market and swift access to the trading floor.
• Offering advice and responding to clients’ requests and queries.
• Advising clients with tactical investments strategies and trading ideas across all asset classes.
• Giving clients access to a selection of financial and trading publications, and translating the information gained into investment ideas.
• Keeping abreast of the latest developments on financial markets and of the macro environment.
• Interpreting financial/market reports, as well as evaluating data analysis.
• Monitoring clients’ positions with a view to optimising performance and adjusting them to take account of risk.
• Providing constant feedback to clients’ CRMs and other major stakeholders.
• Maintaining a strong compliance culture. Ensuring optimal compliance and risk management by adhering to all applicable local legislation, regulatory provisions, in-house directives and procedures as a first line of defence.
• Keeping abreast of developments in the fields so that you can apply them effectively and ensure fair treatment of all clients, while also adhering to Pictet’s mission and core values.
Your profile
• A university degree: ideally Master’s degree or a postgraduate qualification such as a CFA.
• At least 10 years’ experience in a similar function.
• A strong financial markets background with strong knowledge across asset-classes.
• Advanced knowledge of financial products and services with solid experience on derivatives.
• In-depth knowledge of the Bank’s offering.
• Fluent French and English; good knowledge of other language(s) would be a plus.
• Excellent IT skills, in particular Avaloq, Athena, Bloomberg and MS Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• A client-oriented approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be resident in Switzerland, or willing to relocate.
