Responsibilities:
- Creation of 3D models and technical drawings for assemblies and components using SolidWorks
- Design and further development of products and machine components
- Carrying out calculations and simulations to assess the functionality and strength of designs
- Close cooperation with other departments such as production, sales, and quality assurance
- Implementation of customer-specific requirements and development of individual solutions
- Consideration of standards, regulations, and quality standards in design
- Continuous optimisation of existing design processes and methods
Qualifications:
- Completed technical training in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Solid knowledge and several years of experience in 3D design with SolidWorks
- Confident use of CAD programmes and experience in creating technical drawings
- Knowledge of the application of standards and guidelines in mechanical engineering
- Good knowledge of materials science and strength of materials
- Analytical and solution-oriented thinking as well as good technical understanding
- Teamwork skills, communication strength, and initiative
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written
