About the job
The district capital Dietikon is a vibrant regional centre and an important economic location in the rapidly growing Limmattal. The fifth largest city in the canton of Zurich has around 28,000 inhabitants. In six school units, around 3,100 pupils attend classes from kindergarten to secondary level. As part of the Dietikon school health service, the pediculosis specialist is the first point of contact for teachers and parents when lice are detected in schoolchildren.
We are looking for a
Your tasks
• Responsible for the prevention and control of head lice in kindergarten, primary and secondary school pupils
• Advising and supporting pupils, parents, teachers and school management from kindergarten to the 3rd secondary level in cases of acute lice infestation
Your profile
• Ideally, you have a medical background, e.g. medical practice assistant, or are a trained hairdresser
• You have attended or are willing to attend the beginner course for head lice specialists SGKF (1-2 days)
• You are discreet and have a sensitive approach to children and people in general
• You are very flexible in your availability during school hours
• Ideally, you live in Dietikon or the surrounding area
