ABOUT THE PROJECT "FOOTBALL FOR LIFE"
"Football for Life" is an integrative sport and education project that sustainably improves the opportunities for children in grades 3-6 (Cycle 2) – especially girls. Through a combination of weekly language- and value-oriented football training and biannual cultural excursions, the project strengthens movement behaviour, joy and confidence in speaking, as well as the personal development of the participating children. The enthusiasm for football serves as a vehicle to playfully promote language and personality. The weekly sessions, which take place at the participating schools, are led by an interdisciplinary team of trainee teachers and coaches from local clubs.

Tasks
For our project "Football for Life" we are looking for the upcoming school year 2026/2027 for a committed project teacher who enjoys supporting children in their linguistic and personal development through football and wishes to engage in a meaningful sport and education project at the Thun location.
Your area of responsibility:
- Joint planning and implementation of the language- and value-oriented football sessions in an interdisciplinary team during the 26/27 school year: once a week for 2 hours on Wednesdays, 13:00-15:00
- Accompanying the project group on cultural excursions (once per semester)
- Supervising the project group at the annual football closing tournament
Requirements
Your profile:
- Ideally students of the Bachelor's degree or primary school teachers
- Interest in conducting and possibly further developing active learning sequences and language promotion integrated into football training
- First teaching and/or initial training experience in football J+S diploma is an advantage
- Interest in contributing to an integrative sport and education project
- Good access to children in grades 3-6
