From January 2027 or by arrangement, we are looking to support our sales team for the Lucerne ship station with a service-oriented personality as a Customer Advisor Sales.
The Lake Lucerne Navigation Company (SGV) Ltd is a subsidiary of SGV Holding Ltd. Its origins date back to 1836. SGV Ltd operates as a licensed, private transport company with a fleet of five historic paddle steamers and 14 motor vessels, transporting between 2.5 and 3 million passengers annually on Lake Lucerne.
Your area of responsibility
- Sales of SGV and public transport-specific services
- Advising our guests on timetables and ticketing for the Swiss transport network, especially on SGV excursion options and the Lake Lucerne region
- Receiving and handling customer enquiries at the counter and by telephone
- Daily responsibility in the absence of management
- Independent handling of cash management
- Assisting in training apprentices
- Assisting with administrative tasks
Requirements profile
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent educational level
- Practical experience in counter advice (e.g. SBB, KTU station) as well as experience in selling public transport services and/or tourism is an advantage
- Geographical knowledge of the Lake Lucerne area
- High commitment and resilience during our summer season
- Confident German in spoken and written form, good oral skills in English and French, additional languages are an advantage
- A flair for advising and selling
- Independent, customer-oriented and reliable working style
- Willingness to work irregular hours; including weekends
