About the job

To complement our "Fugu" daycare team in Zurich Eggbühl, we are looking for an intern to start immediately or by arrangement.

"Fugu" daycares are a private operation aiming to expand family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. Our "Fugu" house is located in the Eggbühl development on the border of Zurich Oerlikon and Zurich Seebach in district 11. The nearest tram and bus stops are in close proximity. We have 340 m2 of light-flooded rooms available, which we have developed and furnished to be child-friendly. The daycare is organised into 3 groups. Opening hours are from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm.

How brave are you? Working with children is full of life and you will certainly never be bored. As an intern, you will gain your first experiences in the professional world. We accompany you on your path with care and empathy and support you with our expertise. You will learn the basics of childcare and will be allowed to take on increasing responsibility. It is important to us that your backpack is full of knowledge and experience by the end of the internship year. This way, you will feel ready to start training as a childcare professional.

TASKS
• Collaborate in the meaningful and appropriate organisation of daily life
• Support the group leader in managing the children’s group according to the educational principles of "Fugu" daycares
• Gather first professional experiences under guidance
• Co-organise celebrations, festivals, and events

REQUIREMENTS
• Completed compulsory schooling
• Joy and interest in working with children and in a team
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Reliable and resilient
• Self-reflection, willingness to develop further
• Good manners
