Your tasks:

• You are responsible for the operational management of our instrument care
• You ensure efficient organisational structures and plan the use of various medical products, devices and instruments
• You take on the professional and personnel management of the team and develop your employees with a future-oriented approach
• You ensure a high-quality standard of work in the operating theatre and a professional flow of information within your team and beyond
• You actively participate in the operating theatre programme from time to time with instrument and assistant duties
• You develop standards, processes and quality measures further and ensure their implementation in daily routine and their assurance (occupational safety, health protection, etc.)

What you bring:

• Training as a certified specialist in operating technology HF
• Extensive professional experience in a similar position
• Further training in quality management or vocational education is desirable
• Proven leadership experience with high professional and social competence
• Resilience, decisiveness and organisational talent
• Willingness to actively participate in projects
• A communicative, motivating personality

Let us introduce ourselves:

We are the DLZ OT/IS, responsible for a highly professional and efficient operating theatre operation in 8 operating rooms as well as the intensive medical treatment and care of patients. More than 7,500 outpatient and inpatient operations are performed annually in the fields of surgery, traumatology, orthopaedics, spinal surgery, gynaecology, obstetrics, plastic surgery and urology. Over 1,800 treatment days are also provided in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit (6 ventilation places). Our certified medical device reprocessing unit (AEMP) cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilises approximately 12,950 individual instruments and 18,817 instrument trays per year.
