Services and Administration
This is how you fill your backpack for professional life
During your 3-year training, you will get to know interesting, challenging, and exciting activities in the field of services and administration with us. Your practical training takes place in various departments, mainly in Individual Member Support (IMB), but you will also gain insights into other areas of the exciting trade union work. You will learn to organize appointments and meetings as well as to handle correspondence. With various operating systems, you will learn to record and process data.
What you bring with you
We are looking for a secondary school student level A, who enjoys working with people. You have a quick grasp, enjoy working with computers, and are willing to learn new things. Fluent German, both spoken and written, is one of your strengths. You enjoy working with numbers. You are a reliable, responsible, and team-oriented person and maintain good manners.
What we offer
The Unia trade union enables you to discover new activities and areas of work through your willingness to learn and your interest. Your training supervisor and the practical trainers in the various departments support you on the path to a successful apprenticeship completion. You have the opportunity to work independently and to plan your work largely on your own. Unia offers you flexible working hours, progressive employment conditions (7 weeks of vacation) at a location well accessible by public transport in the middle of Zurich near the main train station.
