Embru has its own, semi-autonomous pension fund. The Hess-Honegger Employee Benefits Foundation aims to provide occupational benefits within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions. Employees of the company and those economically or financially closely connected enterprises are affiliated. The employee benefits foundation is organised on a contribution-based system with reinsurance for the risks of death and disability. The board of trustees consists of six members. The interest on retirement capital was 6.0% (previous year 2.0%), which is significantly above the minimum interest rate defined by the Federal Council.
