Job Description
- Further development and optimisation of the central data and analytics platform based on Microsoft
- Fabric conception, development and implementation of AI and GenAI use cases along the entire lifecycle from idea to productive operation
- Development and further development of machine learning and data science solutions with a focus on forecasting and predictive analytics applications
- Preparation, modelling and provision of data for advanced analytics, machine learning and generative AI
- Development, support and optimisation of complex semantic data models as well as modern Power BI solutions in close collaboration with the specialist departments
- Ensuring data quality, data governance, security and compliance within the central data platform
- Building and further developing automated ELT/ETL processes as well as modern CI/CD and deployment pipelines
- Evaluation and introduction of new technologies in the areas of Microsoft Fabric, artificial intelligence and machine learning
- Active knowledge exchange and support in the further development of the data, BI and AI community within Victorinox
Profile
- Completed studies in computer science, data science, data engineering or comparable education or professional experience
- Several years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence or data science, ideally in an international environment
- At least five years of practical experience in the data and BI environment, of which at least two years with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric or comparable cloud technologies
- Very good knowledge of Power BI including DAX, Power Query and deployment pipelines
- Solid SQL and Python skills as well as experience with modern data architectures and data pipelines
- Experience in building and operating data platforms, lakehouses and analytics solutions
- Knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning or generative AI is an advantage
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Strong communication and consulting skills as well as enjoyment in working with different stakeholders
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
