To strengthen our private banking onshore team in Basel, we are looking for a committed and reliable personality as Assistant Relationship Manager. In close cooperation with the Relationship Managers, you contribute to the professional care of our Swiss onshore clients and to the high service quality of our bank.
Proactive and structured support of the Relationship Managers in the care of onshore clients (preparation of client meetings, follow-up of pending matters, correspondence, documentation).
Assumption of organizational and administrative tasks in the front office (agenda management, file preparation, basic compliance tasks, etc.).
Independent preparation and follow-up of appointments with clients and prospects (information gathering, updating client data, preparation of documents).
Collaboration in monitoring client portfolios (maturities of pending transactions, preparation of account openings, liquidity management) in close cooperation with the Relationship Managers.
Independent processing of standard orders (payment transactions, simple transactions in securities and foreign exchange) in compliance with internal guidelines, regulatory requirements, and LGT quality standards.
Completed banking or commercial training, supplemented by 3–5 years of professional experience in a comparable function in private banking or in the care of demanding clients.
Proven experience in supporting Relationship Managers or an advisory team, ideally with direct or indirect client contact.
Good knowledge of basic banking products and services as well as experience dealing with regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC, AML, MiFID); Avaloq knowledge is an advantage.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, a polished appearance, and the ability to work effectively with various internal stakeholders.
Fluent German and French skills; English or other languages are a plus.
Reliable, structured, and service-oriented personality with high quality standards, accuracy, discretion, and good resilience.
Empathetic and team-oriented working style as well as enjoyment in supporting Relationship Managers in client care.
Good MS Office skills and confidence in handling banking systems.
