Civil Engineer: Overall Project Manager Structural Engineering (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you shape demanding, architecturally outstanding construction projects with your expertise as a Civil Engineer and Overall Project Manager Structural Engineering and drive their development and implementation across all phases. You take on a central key role in building internal technical competence and manage all structural engineering-related matters from conception to realisation. As a connecting element between architecture, specialist planning, and construction execution, you combine strategic project management with operational engineering work and ensure both technical quality and cost-effectiveness. You coordinate all parties involved, maintain an overview of complex interrelations, and ensure smooth, goal-oriented collaboration. In a dynamic environment with a start-up spirit, you actively create innovative solutions and contribute significantly to the further development of demanding projects.
Responsibilities:
- You coordinate all specialist planners for structural engineering, HVAC, electrical, and building physics
- In this role, you prepare and review static calculations and structural concepts
- As a Civil Engineer and Overall Project Manager Structural Engineering, you develop economical and optimised structural solutions
- You prepare tenders and evaluate submissions from a technical perspective
- In this role, you manage the interface between planning, architecture, and execution
- You ensure the quality of technical implementation on site and lead draftsmen in structural engineering
Qualifications:
- You have a completed degree as a Civil Engineer FH, ETH, TU or a comparable qualification
- You have several years of experience in structural engineering and project management
- You possess sound knowledge in statics, construction, and building processes
- You bring experience in tendering and awarding processes
- You are characterised by strong communication and coordination skills
- You act entrepreneurially, think solution-oriented, and ideally have experience in interdisciplinary projects
