The position is attached to the Operations Department. This department's mission is to ensure the stewardship and logistics necessary for the smooth running of all HUG services, in terms of catering, cleaning and disinfection of premises, and laundry hygiene. It also manages the sterilization service, biomedical service and equipment, as well as Cressy-Santé. More than 1,300 professionals carry out their tasks daily with constant attention to quality, a sense of service, and environmental responsibility.
Within the Operations Department, the Cleanliness-Hygiene Service is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting premises, rooms, and beds with a highly qualified team and measures to prevent hospital infections. Waste treatment, garden maintenance, and road management are integral parts of the service's activities.
Job Description
As part of your role, you plan, organize, and lead the work of the team of horticulturists and horticulturist assistants who maintain flowers, trees, green spaces, pathways, and parking lots.
You supervise the execution of tasks, the efficiency, and the quality of services provided while ensuring compliance with safety rules.
You manage product and equipment stocks, train and supervise new employees.
Your customer orientation and negotiation skills allow you to propose solutions to improve the team's and work's efficiency.
With natural leadership, you are a respectful person who is committed to uniting your colleagues around a common mission and supporting change.
Qualifications
Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in horticulture, you have at least 3 years of experience in team management and 10 years of experience in horticulture.
The minimum required French level is C1.
You have an interest in administrative tasks and basic computer knowledge (office tools, MS Office, Outlook).
Comfortable in communication and information transmission, you enjoy negotiation and problem-solving. To do this, you rely on your sense of rigor and fairness.
Endowed with excellent interpersonal skills, you are proactive in suggesting improvements.
