In our Mechanical Engineering department in Hombrechtikon/Switzerland, you will develop laboratory automation devices as part of interdisciplinary project teams and test them under real application conditions.
The internship lasts at least 6 months and starts no earlier than March/April 2026.
Tasks
Create, evaluate, and test solution concepts
Design mechatronic assemblies (CAD & technical drawings)
Assembly and commissioning of prototypes
Planning, execution, and documentation of tests (durability, usability, functional tests, etc.)
Presentation of results and solutions to the project team and customers
Basic education in mechanical engineering (at least ETH/FH Bachelor)
CAD skills (preferably Solidworks)
Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of practical work (assembly, experimental setups, etc.)
Independent, creative, and organized working style
Good German and English skills
