FernUni Switzerland stands for fully online conducted university degree programmes and is accredited according to HFKG. It combines a flexible, location-independent part-time distance learning with an active, interdisciplinary research culture at the Brig campus. In five faculties – Law, Psychology, Economics, History as well as Mathematics & Computer Science – we have been shaping modern teaching, learning and research for over 30 years and count over 2,700 students as well as around 550 staff members.

To strengthen our Data Protection service, we are looking for a committed individual as:

Intern as Data Protection Officer (DPO) (100%)

Workplace: Brig, partial work from home possible

Start date: 1 October 2026 or by arrangement

Duration: 6 months, extendable once (maximum 12 months)

FernUni Switzerland is looking for an intern for the Data Protection Officer department (DPO) to assist with tasks in the areas of data protection, information management and support of cross-departmental institutional projects.
