Key information about the position:
Reference: CLS/RH/2026.767 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 100% / Hours: Monday to Friday from 6:30 am earliest to 7:30 pm latest / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

What will you be expected to do?
- Ensure comprehensive care of patients in ambulatory surgery and medicine, in the pre- and postoperative phases
- Conduct clinical assessments, provide continuous monitoring and adapt care according to the patient’s condition evolution
- Administer and monitor prescribed treatments, including complex infusions
- Prepare, accompany and monitor patients for interventional radiology procedures
- Apply nursing care specific to the service while anticipating and preventing potential complications related to treatments and interventions
- Ensure compassionate communication and personalised support to patients and their relatives throughout the care pathway
- Collaborate closely with doctors and interdisciplinary teams to guarantee coordinated and safe care
- Ensure rigorous transmission of information and complete traceability of care in patient records
- Supervise and support nursing students in their clinical learning and professional development
Who will you be working with?
What do we expect from you?
Essentials:
- Degree in nursing from a University of Applied Sciences or a qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross
- At least 3 years of confirmed experience in a hospital setting
- Strict mastery of safety, hygiene and asepsis rules
- Good interpersonal skills and a genuine ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team

- Experience in an ambulatory setting, ideally in day surgery
- Versatility and ability to thrive in a technical and dynamic environment
