As part of the continuous development of our team in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, we are looking to strengthen our Personal Insurance department with a committed and experienced individual for the position of Senior Claims Specialist Accident Benefits (80-100%). You will become an important part of our team, which provides first-class services in the area of accident insurance for our clients.
Your responsibilities include:
- Independent and qualified handling of accident cases in close cooperation with care managers, consulting doctors, as well as other internal and external partners
- Responsible and customer-oriented case management, including analysis and assessment of insurance claims
- Preparing demanding correspondence and conducting complex telephone conversations with insured persons, clients, authorities, doctors, and legal representatives
- Responsibility for case processing from the initial report to completion, taking into account applicable guidelines and legal regulations
- Proactive involvement in process design within the team and active participation in knowledge exchange as well as continuous optimization of workflows
Your profile:
- Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification, ideally supplemented by a professional certificate in insurance
- Several years of professional experience in the field of personal insurance, preferably with a focus on accident insurance
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form; good French skills are a plus
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
- High degree of independence, strong sense of responsibility, and enjoyment in dealing with demanding issues
- Resilience, team spirit, and the ability to work solution-oriented in a dynamic environment
