The St. Gallen Cantonal Police ensures peace, security, and order in the canton of St. Gallen around the clock. It investigates crimes and monitors compliance with applicable laws. As part of the preventive environment, the Situation and Intelligence Center acts as a competence center in situation management. This includes the procurement of information, its evaluation, and the target-group-appropriate dissemination of relevant assessments to internal and external bodies.
