The Hotel Regina is located in the iconic village of Wengen, in the Jungfrau region, amidst the most beautiful panoramas of Switzerland, which are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The accommodation department is looking to complement its team with a:
Housekeeper (m/f)
CONTRACT: fixed-term, 100%, start date: by agreement.
TASKS:
- Non-exhaustive list of activities & duties.
- Promote a positive image of the hotel through exemplary behavior and professionalism.
- Organize and supervise all services of the department (laundry, uniforms, public areas, boutique, room and apartment cleaning).
- Create the work schedule for the floors and the laundry department.
- Support, check, and train the team.
- Manage inventory for the Housekeeping/Laundry department.
- Inspect the rooms and public areas of the hotel, storage, and supplies.
- Ensure smooth room service in close cooperation with the F&B department.
- Manage internal communication and the forwarding of information between the various departments: maintenance, F&B, and reception.
- Conduct CARDEX monitoring and inform our Guest Relations of any changes.
- Guide and ensure that both hotel laundry and guest entrusted laundry are cleaned with high quality and on time.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Identify the products and materials corresponding to the individual care activities.
- 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Hotel management training required.
- Bilingual German/English.
