Apprenticeship Animal Caretaker: Specialization in Wildlife - Papiliorama

Employment from August 2026

During the three-year training period, you will gain comprehensive insights into all enclosures, be accompanied by a motivated team, and can apply your acquired know-how throughout the entire facility. The practical part is complemented by attending vocational school in Olten (fluent oral and written German skills required).

We imagine a motivated and enthusiastic person who is physically resilient and not afraid to get their hands dirty. Furthermore, teamwork and reliability are not foreign words to you, and you are willing to work on weekends. Career changers with a technical initial education are also welcome.

About the application process

Please send us your application documents by September 30, 2025. Candidates who make the shortlist will be invited to an information event on the evening of October 27, 2025. If your personality convinces us that evening, you will be invited around mid-November for a 2-day trial apprenticeship to get to know the profession and Papiliorama.
