Work where research shapes the future: At the ETH Phenomics Center (EPIC) of ETH Zurich, we make an important contribution to modern biomedical research. We specialise in the housing and care of laboratory animals – always under the highest quality, hygiene, and animal welfare standards.
To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed employee who is enthusiastic about this specialised and responsible task.
Job Description
Your area of responsibility includes, in addition to the receipt, cleaning, and disinfection of goods to be sterilised, also logistics and communication with researchers and animal carers within the SPF barrier.
Profile
- Open-minded, resilient, and communicative personality who enjoys working in a team in a lively, international university environment
- High sense of responsibility, resilience, and reliability
- Good German and English skills to understand, follow, and implement hazard warnings and operating instructions
- Willingness to operate electronic large equipment reliably and properly
- Good physical condition as the work involves physical activities, mostly standing and walking
- Working under personal protective clothing such as lab coats, face masks, vinyl gloves
- User knowledge of common office programmes (Outlook, Word)
- Independence and flexibility complete your profile
