Senior Accountant & Controller

Employment with Steinemann AG, working for the entire Steinemann Group
Your mission
You are responsible for controlling the group companies and contribute to accounting and financial statements in the three-person accounting team. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you provide management and the board of directors with well-founded decision-making bases.
What you will do
- Independently manage and further develop the controlling of the group companies, including the group investment list and investment planning in the infrastructure sector together with the department heads
- Preparation of all financial data and key figures as well as ad-hoc analyses for management and the board of directors
- Participation in accounting within the three-person team (Microsoft Dynamics NAV): controls, reconciliations, payment transactions and dunning, monthly closings at balance sheet level, annual financial statements of the companies and the group as well as monthly consolidation
- Support and advise the Group CEO on commercial matters
- Continuous optimisation of organisation and processes as well as participation in projects
What you bring with you
- Federal diploma in finance and accounting, ideally federal diploma as expert in accounting and controlling
- More than 5 years of experience as an accounting generalist, including annual financial statements and balance sheets
- Experience in project management
- Further training in VAT is an advantage
- Very good Excel and ERP knowledge, ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Fluent German and very good English skills, French and Serbian skills are an advantage
- Analytical, entrepreneurial thinking and resilient
- High consulting competence as well as precise, independent working style
