What you can achieve
- Architecture lead throughout the entire project lifecycle of several nationwide broadband and microwave networks
- Design, implementation and documentation of new communication networks for the army, federal government and emergency services
- Creation of new network concepts and further development of existing network concepts with a focus on stability, security and long-term operation
- Configuration, commissioning and testing of network components in projects and operational environments
- Maintenance and upgrades of existing customer networks
- Analysis and resolution of complex network and security issues in a 3rd-level environment
- Technical support for project managers in pre-sales, architecture questions, effort estimation and offer preparation
What you bring with you
- Completed technical education at tertiary level (HF, BSc, MSc or MAS) in engineering or a comparable qualification
- Solid experience with TCP/IP, routing and communication security technologies
- Practical experience with network solutions from manufacturers such as Cisco, Juniper or Checkpoint
- Further training in IP communication is an advantage, for example Cisco certifications
- Experience in microwave technology or interest in gaining expertise in this area
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, good English skills in spoken and written form
- Motivated to learn new things
