- Implementation of care measures focusing on the safety and well-being of residents at night
- Careful documentation of nursing and technical activities
- Function as a contact person in emergencies for doctors, hospital and relatives
- Ensuring care quality by adhering to instructions and guidelines

Burgerspittel is the elderly care institution of the Burgergemeinde Bern. At the locations "Viererfeld" and "Bahnhofplatz", Burgerspittel offers the appropriate living arrangements for around 190 elderly people in a well-maintained environment. The offer is aimed at the entire population - membership of the Burgergemeinde is not a requirement. Around 200 employees are committed with great warmth and ensure a high quality of life for the residents with professional services in care, support, hospitality, administration and everyday activities.
