The company is an established Swiss corporate group with several entities and a long-standing market presence in a dynamic service environment. Short decision-making paths, a practical working approach, and the further development of existing processes characterise the company. To strengthen the finance team, an experienced individual is sought as a Specialist in Finance and Accounting 80-100%. In a team of five to six employees, you will take on a central role in accounting and be responsible, among other things, for the preparation of financial statements and consolidation of several companies. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to actively shape projects and the digital advancement of the finance department.

Your tasks with the new employer:

• You independently prepare the annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP and are responsible for the consolidation of a total of eight companies
• In the monthly closings, you take on a central role and, together with the team, ensure reliable financial accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payment transactions
• You take on professional responsibility for projects in finance and accounting and independently drive the optimisation and digitalisation of existing processes
• Additionally, you undertake diverse tasks within the finance team, represent the dunning process if necessary, and support the supervision and training of apprentices

You offer your new employer:

• Ideally, you hold the Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence in Finance and Accounting or a comparable further qualification; other educational paths are also welcome with solid professional experience and corresponding expertise
• You bring several years of experience in finance and accounting as well as sound knowledge in independently preparing financial statements according to Swiss GAAP and in consolidation
• Knowledge of Abacus is an advantage, and you have a good IT affinity as well as an interest in digitalisation, automation, and the use of new technologies in finance
• You are characterised by a pronounced hands-on mentality as well as an exact, structured, and reliable working style and appreciate collaboration in a well-coordinated team
